Billet and semi-finished steel as rolling mill input — can wait in our bonded warehouse with duty deferred.
Billet is the semi-finished product obtained by melting scrap in an electric arc furnace and solidifying it by continuous casting. It is the basic feedstock of rolling mills, supplied by tonnage and storable in our warehouse.
Steel is priced daily. A figure we publish today would not be binding tomorrow, so we do not post prices anywhere on the site. Tell us the item, dimension and tonnage and we will share that day's price item by item, together with ex-stock delivery and warehouse withdrawal options.

A billet is semi-finished steel used as the input for rebar and section production in rolling mills. Section 100×100 to 150×150 mm, length 3,000 to 12,000 mm.
Grades 20MnB4, Q235 and 5SP / 3SP. Produced by electric arc furnace and continuous casting; every consignment comes with a cast certificate.
Because it shows the chemical analysis of the billet and therefore which grade it will give once rolled. A billet whose analysis is not documented is an unpredictable input for a rolling mill.
You can; because the duty burden on billet imports is high, the warehousing procedure is particularly useful for this product. Duty is deferred until the goods are withdrawn, and partial withdrawal is possible.
You withdraw as much billet as your rolling mill will process that month and pay duty only on that part; the rest of the consignment waits in the warehouse. On high-tonnage billet imports this is the method that eases working capital the most.
Because billet is a semi-finished product not much affected by weather, it can be held in the open yard. Even so, the stacking layout and the records are kept as carefully as for items in covered space.
The item we hold continuously in the raw material group is billet; wire rod and similar semi-finished products are supplied to order. It is enough to tell us the grade, dimension and tonnage.
The section and length ranges are kept wide (100×100 to 150×150 mm, 3,000 to 12,000 mm); tell us the size your machine requires and we will find a matching consignment, or share supply options if there is none.
Billet and semi-finished consignments wait in the warehouse with duty deferred; tell us your tonnage and customs status.
