CRC (cold rolled coil) is coil produced by re-rolling hot-rolled sheet at room temperature. In Türkiye it is also widely known as DKP.
Cold rolling gives thinner gauges, tighter tolerances and a markedly smoother surface.

The DC grades
Formability increases from DC01 through to DC06. DC01 is general purpose; DC04 and above are produced for pressing work that requires deep drawing.
Choosing a high grade for simple bending work creates unnecessary cost; the choice follows the draw depth of the part.
Oiled and unoiled
Oiled sheet is shipped with a thin oil film that gives temporary protection against corrosion. It is preferred where storage will be long.
Unoiled sheet suits parts that will be processed or painted immediately; but it has to be protected from moisture.
Where it is used
- Pressing work requiring deep drawing
- White goods and automotive supplier parts
- Substrate for pre-painted steel production
- Section and pipe work where surface quality matters
